Me a MOMMA!
I am 7 days late on my period. I took a couple of tests earlier like when I was 2 and 3 days late, but the results were so faint I couldn't believe it. Even if the faint was saying I was pregnant. So I waited a few more days. I took another test this morning. It was faint, but I could see it without my glasses from a couple of feet away it had color to it and so I am pretty sure I am pregnant. I am calling my OBGYN on Monday to see if I can get in on Thursday so I can have Jason come with me. I had a student scan my ovary to see if I had a huge weird cyst that could screw things up. I have a small cyst, but I have had much worse than that little guy and not been late on my period. I am pretty sure that cyst 2 cm or so is not the cuplrit of late period and light, but positive pregnancy test results.
I am only like 4 to 5 weeks and I am not in the clear until 12 weeks. My mother had 2 miscarraiges before Howard and I were born. So, I am going to deal with it if it happens, but I am praying that it doesn't. I am so EXCITED! BUT I am afraid to be too excited and get my heart crushed.
I have also had a sour tummy with heartburn. I pee a whole bunch. I thought it was just a urinary tract infection. Which I did have, but taken care of with cranberry juice and vitamin C. Still peeing a lot though.
