As more time passes and more former classmates join up here or on MySpace or other sites like Classmates.com, I begin to wonder more and more about what my former classmates are doing and how their lives have turned out. If you are one of those people who went to Beard School with me for kindergarten or one of the people I spent any amount of time with at Holy Redeemer feel free to drop me a line here.
As for me, well, my life didn't turn out the way I thought it would. I started college right after high school but because of money issues I never finished school. I was offered a job with the government as a file clerk and I have been working full-time with them since March of 1996. I am currently working in the Telecommunications Unit where I have been for 8 1/2 years of the ten years I have been working. I am trying to get a job in our Training Unit. I am considering going back to school to get at least a bachelor's degree just so that I can tell my kids, when we have kids, that I finished college (even if it did take longer than it should have.)
I have been married for six years. My husband and I do not have any children other than our dear departed son, Alexander (who you can read about in one of my blogs on MySpace.com.) We are currently living in a two bedroom house in Dearborn Heights, Michigan with our Brittany Spaniel dog, Maverick. (Speaking of marriage, when I was thinking all those years ago about who I would marry, I never thought that it would be someone who graduated from Holy Redeemer high school. Go figure.)
As for my hobbies, well I write romance novels and children's stories for fun. I know that will not come as a surprise to some of you. I have finished six novels so far but I haven't yet gotten up the courage to send them out to publishers. When I do, you will know about it. Other than that I love spending time with my family especially my three nieces.
If anyone wants to know more about my life please feel free to ask me anything and I will be more than willing to answer any questions you may have.
