Final Grades so far
I've received two grades for my final exams I took this week. And so far I am very excited about them.
Psychology: 94/100
Social Theory: 78/75
I have 80 more points available in Sociology and I only need 26 of those to make an A. I am borderline B in Psych (bad sleeping through alarm clock) so that s till depends on how well I do on my paper.
Math is pretty concrete as it is. I am borderline B in that class too (damn homework due every class) but I doubt I pulled enough magic for that one as I spent most of my time concentrating on Social theory (which ubberly paid off).
Roommates suck major ass. My roommate gave me ten days notice before I was leaving town that she was moving out *insert lie as to why here* and that she did not have enough money and was not paying December's rent. To make matters worse she told me this at the beginning of finals week which meant I didn't have time to send out flyers and go much beyond asking people if they knew anyone who needed a place.
I've learned a very important lesson. I didn't make her give a deposit because I had already paid for it and didn't want to deal with it. The landlord made her sign an agreement to the rules and regulations of the complex but nothing about 30 days notice was given. For the next roommate they will give a 1 months deposit that I will keep in the lock box so it doesn't get mixed up with my finances and they will sign a month saying that 1 months notice is required to get the deposit back.
In a dream world I would not go searching for a roommate at this time but I just don't have the money to live by myself. It would be so nice to have a study. An extra closet to store everything in, a place to put another desk or long table so I can study with no distractions. (The internet and TV is too much for me). A place to hookup my stereo and put a comfy chair in so I can read. Doesn't that just sound lovely......
Tonight consists of a hot bubble bath and one of my favorite movies.....if only wine was on my diet.
