Well, I had an adventureous night. We went to watch fireworks at Danielle's and......
absolutely nothing happened. I had Jenny drop me off at a good spot to watch the stadium's fireworks, because everyone else is a pussy and had to go home by 10:30. After that is where the real adventure began. Naturally, going across that bridge that's currently out is the quickest way to my house from above Friendly's. The only problem with that is... it's out. But I figured, hey, there'd be a quick way around.
Well, at the bridge I was treated to a nice big fence going around any area that may have led me down even remotely close to the tracks, leaving me with nothing but jungle to comb the edge of for a sign of a way through. A little ways down in the direction of the city, there happens to be a bridge which is fenced, but unlocked, saying "no pedestrians: VF personnel only". Of course, this was my chance. I snuck across the bridge to find... some kind of weird-ass back area of warehouses, that connects in no way with VF, leaving me with no safe way through to home. But wait, I don't give up so easily. There was a small path of trampled roughage leading to a fence that seperated me from the outlets. Piece of cake, except for those thorn bushes at the end. I sailed across the fence, probably almost killing myself, ran across another set of railroad tracks, across another 8 or 9 ft tall fence, and finally into the familiar parking lot of VF. Needless to say, I was rather glad to see Penn Avenue.
I managed to snag a few holes in my shirt at those awesome thorn bushes, so, unless anyone here is an accomplished sewist, looks like it's time to get my shop on.
Hey, Nick, why aren't we good enough? Just why the hell aren't we good enough for anyone? Why am I lonely? It's such... nonsense. Damn the insincerity...

Hold On
You tried so hard to be someone
That forgot who you are
You tried to fill some emptiness
Till all you had spilled over
Now everything's so far away
That you don’t know where you are
You are
When all that you wanted
When all that you had don't seem so much
For you to hold onto
For you to hold onto
For you to belong to
When it’s hard to be yourself
It’s not to be someone else
Still everything's so far away
That you forget where you are
You are
When all that you wanted
When all that you had don’t seem so much
For you to hold onto
For you to hold onto
Hold on
Hold on
When all that you wanted
When all that you had don't seem so much
For you to hold onto
For you to hold onto
For you to hold onto
For you to belong to
