(no subject)
When you can read a year's worth of LJ entries without having to "skip 20", you know something's up. I think I'm going to give up this "fandom journal" for dead. That's not to say that I'll delete it. Or that I might not come back to it some day. But... yeah. If you're going to clean out your flists, this should be the first moth-eaten thing to go.
Looking at my friendslist here makes me sad. In ignoring this journal, I've lost touch with most of you. I wish leaving a fandom didn't mean leaving so many of your friends.
Anyone who wants to keep in touch with me, I post on a regular basis to my other journal, greensword. It's mostly real life updates, with occasional political commentary, random book/tv show/movie reviews/essays/ficbits, and short bursts of squee during the basketball season. If that interests you at all, friend me over there and I'll friend you back.
