No real updates right now... actually, I have updates but I'm feeling exhausted and don't know if I'm up for a long post. Maybe I'll just give the bullet points sans explanation:
- after looking extensively into the wedding thing, we've come to the conclusion that if we want to do a real one, we want it to be at Cornell because that's the most special place for both of us. The earliest that can happen is June. We're tentatively holding a date in June but still need to take a trip to Ithaca to check out the location and make sure we really want to do it at the particular venue, make sure we can get catering for that day, etc. There's also a small part of me that still wants to elope but I'm ignoring it for now.
- James lost his job and is currently conducting a national search
- my new job has kind of turned into a living hell. in some ways worse than the one I was at before. I'm basically surviving by constantly telling myself it's temporary.
On the upside, I've read a few good books lately and my cat has finally stopped biting me. :) More to come soon...
