Cut some flowers to brighten up my room. It occurs how cruel we are to living things... we dismember and hack these plants apart, then prolong their death for as long as possible by putting their dying corpse in water.

Flowers, romantic or sadistic...

I like the sadistic line. Never thought about it like that before, but I like it. Makes me far more inclined toward being accepting of receiving cut flowers as a gift now, too :D
