Dreaming of a Job
So... weird ass dream last night...
I ended up staying in California all the way to Christmas so I could work at Holiday, because I was too lazy to actually go put in applications anywhere else and Holiday said they'd hire me back anytime. It was SO freaking weird.
Guess my daily thoughts are bleeding over to my dreams now. I'm freaking out about getting a job in Virginia. I've lived there a year, but I still know nothing about the damn state. Plus, I have no desire to meet anyone...
I'm thinking about all the places to apply... I want to start off with the stores that I can walk to, so Tony can continue to take the car to work. Within MAYBE a 5 minute walk (might be less) I'm going to apply to: Hallmark, Payless Shoes, and Dollar Tree. After that, I'm going to apply to the places about 10 minutes away driving: Micheals, Staples, Toys R Us, the random book store next to Toys R Us, and the mall movie theater. I really, really don't want to get a job, but I owe peoples money and what not... Besides, extra money never hurt anyone...
I want to try to buy a laptop someday... There were other things as well, but a laptop is the main one... with one of those wireless internet things (Becca has one... hooks you up to the internet anywhere there is a cell phone signal or some odd...) Anywho, with a laptop I can take my games and stories on the go with me.... Plus my pictures and shit. It'd just make life easier....
So, one more week in California! It's going by WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too freaking fast! Damnit! =>.<=
