(no subject)
UGH...I love my job but today has sucked here...I've had two patients flip out on me in the gym and we're not sure where the problem was, I"ve been assured I did nothing wrong.
Scenerio 1:
Patient walks off court.
Me: hey ______ are you playing?
Patient: get the fuck away from me you fucking asshole
the patient was escorted back to the unit and continued to flip out on Ric (another hab aide) the entire way back.
Scenerio 2:
Patient: Whats the score?
Me: I have no idea, I haven't been keeping score.
Patient *hits volley ball all the way to the other side of the court and its hard enough that it bouncing back to him* what the fuck good are you then? I'm not playing this god damn fucking game anymore.
Van and Ric escort the patient back to their unit and he continues the entire way back.
I'm suppose to be out at 4 for my three day weekend. At 3 Shannon (my supervisor) comes up to Lisa and I and says, Gail had to go home with a bad knee, we don't have converage for the Barnes and Noble trip, it will have to be canceled unless Tabatha can stay.
Lisa: Can you stay?
Me: Do I have a choice?
Shannon: *looks at floor* we talked about this yesterday...I don't want to tell you that you have to...but we need coverage
*Yesterday shannon and janet (my internship supervisor) got into a huge yelling match and shannon actually started to cry because Janet told her she might have to mandate me for sunday. It all worked out that I don't have to work and that I won't be mandated...but basically if I'm the first to get mandated if anywhere needs coverage and this sucks...
UGH I want to go home and see Katie and drink beer.
