I'm really excited about Thanksgiving this year. I have been home since early October, and its been longer than that for my older brother. The exciting thing isn't the food or the days off (I have to work the day/weekend after), its the fact that for the first time in at least the last 4 years the entire family will be there. Mom, Dad, Derek, Dan, Gram and I will all be present and we'll be celebrating the day of instead of the day before. I've been coordinating the event which has been, at times stressful, but worthwhile in the end.
It will also be the first holiday without Gramp...and I think that brings it to a completely different level. However, I think that since it will also be the first celebration as a family since his passing it will be a good thing. Time to send out the "what i'm thankful for" email to my family.
:)

In other news, there are no words to describe the last week of my life...It's been stressful, exciting, confusing, sad, nice, fun, and so much more...all at the same time.
