(no subject)
So, it's been a really long time since i've updated. but i guess that happens when you have limited access to the internet. so here goes the short version of my life as of late.
I'm no longer living in trenton. i finally moved into my new apartment with julie, and things are going well. i've still got some work to do on my room and such, but the apartment is organized and such for the most part. nobody has seen the apartment aside from julie and i (and a couple maintenance people) since we got it straightened up, so if you feel like coming for a visit, give me a call and i'll try to get you here.
we moved in on friday, but then we went to Erie, PA for julie's stepdad's family reunion/softball game. it was a fun trip, but i was extremely sore monday and tuesday (from the game). friday night we found out that we needed to get foam mattress pads for our beds because they are hard as rocks without them. julie actually slept in the floor friday night because it was more comfortable. but alas, we have a comfortable bed now.
work has been going alright. it's kinda boring at times, and the fact that i almost always get off a half hour early sucks. i mean, it's good because i get home early, but it sucks because it's less money. speaking of money, friday is payday, then i should get a nice sized check from UC at the end of the month. any way, back to work. i've only worked there for three weeks, but i think i'm going to start looking for anothehr job closer to home so i don't have to drive to tri-county three days a week. it's not too far of a drive, i'd just like to find something that is about five or ten minutes away instead of 20-30. julie had an interview at Old Navy in Kenwood yesterday, so hopefully she gets that. she has a second interview tomorrow, so yeah, i think it's looking good for her.
well, i've got to finish working on my room and go wake julie up in a few minutes (we had to get up early, so she's taking a nap).
