holy shit. so i was just checking my grades online for the classes i've finished, and i'm pleasantly surprised. i was afraid i'd wind up with at least two Cs. turns out i have only one. and it wasn't even in my hardest class. so, here's the breakdown so far.
Geology - don't know yet. exam wednesday.
Legal Research - 76.5% this is my only C
Domestic Relations - 88%
Religion And Politics (this was my hardest class) - 85%
and i got a 95% on that 12-15 page paper (which turned out to be slightly longer than 12 pages). pretty good for not reading the book or really reading any of the surveys we were assigned. i skimmed a couple chapters from the book and found the important parts in the surveys. i probably would have actually read this stuff, except that i had too much else to do, and the fact that Religion and Politics doesn't really interest me. so yeah, i think this quarter went pretty well considering that i really didn't feel up to par, and i was basically wore out in January. this summer i'm going to get some rest and get myself prepared for next year. i'm not working 40 hours a week come september, so i'll be able to focus on schoolwork more and my goal is to get a 3.5 gpa for next year, so let's rock and roll.
on to some more news, i had an absolutely perfect day on friday. got up, turned in all my homework, got my hair cut, came home, showered, then met Julie to go see Poseidon, which, if you have the chance, check it out. after that we walked over to Coldstone where we enjoyed some delicious ice cream by the fountain. (by rave). then we were bored, so we went driving around for a couple hours. we stopped at mom's house so she and Julie could meet each other (i think mom liked her. more than i can say for the last girl i was with, not that Julie and i are dating yet, but i think we're getting there). after that we went to the park in Seven Mile where we sat and talked for a while. we sat on the swings and enjoyed each other's company for about a half hour or so, then we proceeded on our journey. we drove out to the old hosue on Waynes Trace, then headed back to West Chester so she could get her car. then we met adam for some steak and shake, and called it a night. all in all, i had a great time with her. definately made me appreciate her friendship a bit more, as we had some very in depth conversation. it's nice to be able to talk to a girl that is on the same plane as myself intellectually. she forces me to use my brain quite a bit, and it's refreshing. so, let me recap
Pros of the evening Cons of the evening
spending time with Julie Julie having to go home
intellectual conversation Having to go home
late night trip to the park after a wonderful evening
swinging (not sexually. actually on the swings)
