aaahhhhhhhhhhhh........ ok. so...........like i said earlier, i've got a lot on my mind. and remember how i said (several posts ago) that i hated this area and can't wait to get out? well, i still hate it, but i may have a temporary escape. about a year or so ago my dad was talking to his boss or some other big shot out at Ogara, and apparently me wanting to be a lawyer came up. well, the guy (Gary Allen) said that when it was time for me to start my co-op, he would try to see if he could get me a position with ogara's (Armor Holding's) corporate lawyers. so yeah, i want to start co-opping ASAP. mainly because i want some experience in the legal field before i waste money on something that i may not like (though i'm sure i'll like it), and partly because i'm getting bored with LT. it's a great job, but i can't stand some of the bullshit that goes on there, and i've never liked going in and doing essentially the same thing every day. i need a little excitement. so how does this potential opportunity provide a temporary escape from southwest ohio? well, from what i remember, AH's corporate lawyers are based out of New York City and Jacksonville. yeah, so i asked dad to see if Gary could still get me in, and if he can, i'll probably start co-opping either in june or september. if i get the position, i'm hoping for NYC. a) it's closer in case i feel the need to come home, and b) i want to go to NYC, and c)i've always wanted to know what it's like to live in a big city.
well, i'm off. hopefully i get some good news in the next few weeks.
