I'm not going to Dragoncon this year because I am too poor to procure funds for myself. In fact, I have so little money, that that which I have in my possession goes towards buying food and reptile supplies only. :l
I am still going to make my TOS Captain Kirk cosplay, I got the boots for about 4$ at Goodwill Emporium, and the velour fabric will have to be ordered and then I will make the shirt myself. In the meantime however, I will continue to work on my Victorian suit and my halloween mask. I'll probably just go as Capt. Kirk for Halloween anyways. I may open up comissions sometime in the next few months.
I have no idea what will cover the moving jaw mechanism in the new mask, I don't want to put fur on it, but it looks that I may have to put a bit on, just over the elastics and hooks.
My sister is moving in to her dorm in a week or so, and I have to help her because i'm the only one in the family strong enough to lift any of her shit since my father became crippled. My mother is still popping MY pain pills and denying it.
