wow it's been awhile...
alright, so i haven't posted for like 2 months. i've been reading my friends page, though.
i'm working hard at my herbalism class, though i'm a full module behind. ick. am currently reading about astringents. whee. this class is almost over, though, and i can take a rest before the next one starts in january.
in other news, work is going well, as long as i can keep from getting emotionally involved in employee issues. i hate it when two people i would usually believe nearly unconditionally (taking into account their personal exaggeration habits, etc) are at odds with each other, each with an opposing story. i'm glad i didn't have to field that one... though i think i might have been more fair than the administration was. oh well. like i said, *NOT getting involved.* but me, myself, i'm doing well. Marc, the director/administrator/whatever actually asked me into his office today to get my opinion on whether or not we should try to get one of our residents back from the nursing home. i was happy, cause it meant my opinion means something to him, AND i get to support bringing back one of the sweetest women ever, who is NOT doing well in a nursing home AT ALL. so yeah. go me.
also, for those of you who don't know by now, rachel and i are back together. we started out being back together but not exclusive, but now we're like, let's be really together when we're together, but when we're not (if one of us is away, if rach goes on a field study, etc), then we can be... open. whatever. but really, she is my one and only true love, so when she's here, i don't need anyone else. the break was a good thing, but i'm so happy to be back with her.
things have changed a lot though. i'm much more independent and individual than i was before. our money isn't tied up together anymore, giving me both the responsibility and the autonomy i need. we're still in separate bedrooms, so we each have our own space, but usually sleep in the same room lately. it's cozier. anyway. i guess i just want to let people know i'm doing well. oh, and i bought an address book and need addresses. i promise to send a non religious seasonal card to anyone who supplies me with their mailing address. :-)
