I'll make a post later when I'm not so exhausted and put up my specific wins, and compare them to my predictions, but look at those GORGEOUS RIBBONS! I TOOK BEST IN SHOW!! YAY!
Here's a couple of really special things I wanted to share though.
That is Hat, her daughter Mimsey, and Mimsey's daughters Pizza Bones and Watermelon Rinds. All on the same show table together. Hat was good enough still to be shown against her GRAND daughters and still do well! And in fact, a daughter of hers and a grandson of hers won the show.
That is Stubbed Toes, her daughter Pecan, her grand-daughters One Night of Song and Heavy Fog, and her GREAT-granddaughters Mary of Gueldres. Stubby was good enough to still be on the table, competing against her own GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. And in fact, she WON Best Provisional (which I don't necessarily agree with, I still think Pecan is a better rat, but still!)
I'm awed and inspired that the bloodlines I've been working so hard on have produced this caliber of "fruit" - does who can still be competitive on the show table even after producing really stunning GENERATIONS of offspring.
I'm so proud and happy :)
