In other news...not really news...i just wanted to do this, though it's really silly....
1. What kind of soap is in your bathtub right now?
We only have a shower. Cat has Irish Spring, and i have Demon in the Dark.
2. Do you have any watermelon in your refrigerator?
Sadly, no. The season is over.
3. Is there anything moldy in your refrigerator?
Not to my knowledge.
4. What would you change about your living room?
Hrmmm...well, the couches need replaced. The room itself is awesome.
5. Are the dishes in your dishwasher clean or dirty?
I don't use the dishwasher. The dishes in my dish drainer are clean.
6. Do you have a can of mushrooms in your pantry?
Uh. No? No.
7. White or wheat/brown bread?
Wheat! With bits and nuts and things, except Cat and the Bebe won't eat that, so it's just plain whole wheat.
8. What is on top of your refrigerator?
Fire extinguisher, cup of pens to write on the grocery list with. Cat hair, i'm sure.
9. What color is your sofa?
Dark green, with tasteful cat hair accents.
10. What color or design is on your shower curtain?
It's...vertically striped in a kind of sandy brown and pale blue and tan and greenish-gold.
11. How many plants are in your home?
Cat has a maple seedling in the Lair. I don't do plants anymore - too many plant funerals.
12. How many candles are in your home?
Not enough? Not sure. Half-dozen, i think.
13. Is your bed made right now?
Yup. Have to - every animal in the house wants to sleep *only on my pillow*. So i have to shove it under the covers, pull them all up, then put a towel where my pillow normally goes, since they all lay there, instead.
14. If you have a coffee pot, what color is it?
It's clear, sort of. With lime deposits. About time to get a new one - lime has nearly killed another coffee maker.
15. Electric or standard can opener?
Standard. Much easier.

Yup. Has to be - it's not all that big.

Glass. Hate plastic.

Nope.
22. If you have a garage, is it cluttered?
Don't have one. The basement's pretty tidy, though.

Curtains in the living room, Roman shades elsewhere.

Only Cat's tablet screen light, which i wish was dimmer.

Sadly, only one.

NEVER!! Don't have one anymore, friggin' YAY! Hardwood floors, bb!

White and red. Always red, so Cat knows to 'stop', and not use it. The goober.

Just a mat. I don't believe in welcoming in things that might not be welcome. :)

A wee bit of burnt grease. I'm not a big baker.

Clean. I despise a dirty microwave. They stink.

Lots of cat-hair tumbleweeds. Possibly a skin mouse. Possibly Oliver.

All of them? Cleaning the bathroom. So tedious!

I have some very spiffy retro plates and glasses, and a pitcher set, that were wedding gifts to my mom and dad when they got married back in 1960. And my Dad's Navy uniform dress shirt, custom tailored to fit him, from WWII.

Yup. Except we call it the Computer Room. I'm the only one that uses it, though - Cat's in his Lair in the basement and the Bebe has her laptop.
36. If you have a yard, who mows it?
The lawn mower guy. He's not had a very busy summer.

Cat hair. A few splashes of coffee, most likely. Cat and dog food/water bowls, the recycling bin, dog toys.

Um. One in each bathroom, and the Bebe has a full-length one and one on her dresser.

Sadly, no. Anybody wanna hide some for me?

A sort of creamy white-butter thing. Not *yellow* in any way, but ivory or something. Not stark white.

None! Blech.

Nope. It has a decorative oval window that you can kinda-sorta see through.
43. Do you keep any kind of protection weapons in your home?
Several guns, though they're not displayed.

Bayberry, if i can get it. Anything spicy/christmas-y.

I think there are some dill. Woe. I like only sweet.

Well...the Bebe, of course. My sister and brothers, and our good friends up in KC. On the 'fridge are pictures of all the nephews and nieces. And on the living room table are all the wedding pictures. My mom and dad, Cat's mom and dad, their respective parents, Cat's great-grandparents, and us.
48. What color is your favorite bible?
Yeah, no. Stupid question. Atheist, don't own a bible. My favorite *book* has a mostly white cover.
49. Do you have plenty of cabinet space in your kitchen?
Not really.
50. Ever been on your roof?
Nope, not this house. It's pretty damn high and pretty damn steep - probably won't ever be going up there.

Two, though the oldest is down in the Lair, dying the death. Starting to look funny on the screen.

None. Just our cells (one each).

Um. A lot of Mucha prints and other art prints, a lot of rocks and shells and skulls and things i can put in the sink and wash, since dusting makes my allergies go nuts. Sort of quasi-hippie-neo-pagan thing with added books.

Yes, though i could go for a patterned couch if i found the right pattern. The curtains have a sort of brocade look to them.
57. Is there a smoke detector in your home?
Several.
58. In case of fire, what are the items you would grab if you only could make one quick trip?
The Bebe and the cats...my purse...the folder of important papers. My hard drive.

I know how to turn breakers back on. What more does it do?
60. What temperature in your home is most comfortable to you?
70 or so? A little cooler. The AC never goes lower than 79, but the furnace never higher than 68....
The temp just *dropped* here the last few days, with overcast and drizzle - lovely! I see space heaters and flannel pj pants in my future. :) I'm also starting to post my old Spander story, 'Changes', over at AO3 but i'm having posting issues. Bleh.
