Charity Drive Deadline
The Deadline for giving to Direct Relief International (in Tab's honor) is now December 15, 2010.
I got an email notice earlier today from Direct Relief that if a donation is made in someone's name, DRI sends a "Tribute Card" to the honoree (that would be Tab). Getting that from Direct Relief would have more of an impact and be more "official". :) (We'll still refer to it in the scrapbook, of course). But the deadline DRI gave to receive such donations and have their Tribute Card reach her in time for Christmas is December 15th. So that's the charity deadline for us!
Also, wanted to mention that the reason I haven't posted an update on the Charity tally is because we've actually stalled out somewhat on receiving donations, and it hasn't changed too much from last time!
So, please consider pitching in! As I've said before, if each fan or contributor gave even $5 or $10, it would really add up quickly. (But if you want to give more, we won't get mad).
EDIT: I've gotten word that there is a good chance that we have someone who will match funds for us! This means however much we collect, up to our goal of $2000, they will double it! I'll confirm as soon as I get details!
