Seems like everyone's cataloguing what they wrote in 2010, so I thought I'd join the fun. And holy crap, this looks like a lot now that I've got it all on one page. I never really realized that during the year itself.
Okay, I'm including my non-fanfiction projects as well. Everything is arranged in chronological order within the categories (meaning that the earliest stuff is listed first).
Writings (Assume Buffyverse and Buffy/Angel unless otherwise specified. Everything is light PG-13 and under.)
Multi-Chaptered
Worlds Apart (Explores how S3 would have changed if the Watchers had found Angel before Buffy could. Complete.)
Finis Vitae Sed Non Amoris (Buffy's perspective, mostly, from her death to the offscreen meeting. Complete.)
Season 9 (Sequel to
Season 8, obviously. WIP with five "episodes" to go. Majorly not based on the comics.)
The Slayer and His Vampire (AU. Buffy is the vampire with a soul, Angel is the Slayer. WIP, third chapter just added.)
One-Shots (Which might not necessarily remain so.)
Windows to the Soul (My IWRY entry. Wishverse. Complete, but I would like to write a longer version at some point.)
Destiny and Free Will (Potterverse, immediately post-epilogue. Albus and Rose meet Scorpius on the train.)
The Result of a Moment's Private Reflection (Pride and Prejudice. Earlier resolution for Bingley and Jane. I really want to explore how this would affect Darcy and Elizabeth, but so far I have no ideas.)
Shorter One-Shots (Includes entries to B/A Rosebuds.)
A Timelier Interruption (Set in "Angel". If Buffy and Angel had gotten a few extra minutes alone in the Bronze.)
Prowler (Set in "Angel". The reason why it took Angel so long to get to Buffy after the Three attacked her.)
Enthralled (Set in "Angel". It would have been so easy for him to seduce her.)
Eternity (Set in "Enemies". One possible explanation for why nobody ever attempted to bind Angel's soul in canon.)
Waltz (Second IWRY entry. Originally a series of four Rosebuds. Set between "Ted" and "Bad Eggs". Xander couldn't have been the only one who retained the memories from his costume persona in "Halloween".)
Metas and Similar (Caution: do not be shocked and angered when you encounter copious amounts of pro-Angel and pro-Buffy/Angel rhetoric herein. That's the way my fandom compass points, and I will not reorient it or apologize for it on behalf of the delicate sensibilities of people who don't agree with me.)
A Leaf from A2zmom's Book (My definition of the soul in the Buffyverse, as of April.)
Souls (In which certain aspects of my position in the previous meta have evolved somewhat.)
The Ritual of Restoration: Text and Meaning (A pseudo-meta thing about how canon essentially states that Angel's soul isn't just some random soul, but actually the one he had as Liam. Which I always assumed anyway. And the ensuing discussion went lots of very interesting places.)
The PtB: perhaps not so theologically ambiguous after all (Even if this idea almost certainly isn't what the writers had in mind, I still think it's really cool.)
Villainy: The Merlin Series Three Premiere (In which I rant about the mishandling of Morgana's arc up to that point in the show.)
Buffy/Angel vs. Buffy/Spike in the comics (In which I catalogue all of the moments each ship got up to issue 38. Hint: Buffy/Angel won easily in both the Quantity and Quality categories.)
Drawings
Foolish Mortals (Fan art for A Midsummer Night's Dream, which my Shakespeare professor showed in class.)
Angel tablet practice (I freehanded a drawing of Angel with my tablet. Meh. I definitely prefer sketching in pencil first.)
Castiel: Angel of the Lord (Which obviously coincided with my introduction to Supernatural)
Castiel (Yeah, this became a character crush to rival the ones I have on Angel and Mr. Darcy in a matter of days.)
Fanged Four flash (In which I discovered more secrets of the animated flash icon. Based on
this earlier drawing.)
Fanged Four flash icon (In which I realized that the previous icon was too large a file to actually use anywhere.)
Buffy and Angel Reunited (The body proportions are a bit off, but her hair and their faces make up for it.)
Gallagher (An original character. I finally figured out what she looks like. And that she's a steampunk mechanic.)
self-portrait (My hair got longer, so I had to draw a new one. I'm very happy with how it turned out.)
Surly Liam Is Surly (I drew the Angel of "The Slayer and His Vampire" because he makes me giggle.)
Xander and Renée ("Season 8" illustration, sort of. I learned how to do more dynamic poses! Oh, the possibilities.)
Waltz (Initial illustration of the final segment of the Buffy/Angel fic of the same name.)
Waltz flash (Final Flash version of the previous drawing, in which the setting of the dance fades from past to present.)
Hobbit Siblings (In the spirit of
the LotR reread I'm doing with Kairos, I drew me and my youngest brother as hobbits.)
Non-drawing Artwork
Nerdy Love icon (Topher/Bennett. My first use of Adobe Flash.)
Happy Birthday, Kairos (A Buffy/Angel flash icon made to her specifications. Includes some EBB goodness.)
Castiel desktop (The result of my dissatisfaction with all the pre-made ones I found.)
Duct Tape Smithing
Uh...there may be something wrong with my screen, but if the colorful bits on the bag look purplish on yours, they shouldn't, because they're actually navy blue. (Like on the Angel box set that happens to be sitting on that little table just behind the row of books.) Anyway, 2010 was kind of a slow year for my tape smithy. In previous years, I've made a corset, a pirate tricorne hat (which was probably sitting just out of sight on top of the dresser in those pictures, actually), a contraption for holding a bucket up close to the drip in the ceiling of my dorm room (which the crack maintenance staff has since condescended to repair), Link's gauntlets from the Legend of Zelda games (just the leather ones, though, not the silver or gold ones), a pencil case, many other satchels like this one, and most likely some other stuff I've forgotten about.
