WOW Another wide open topic.
How about first pet?
My first pet, meaning the first one that was mine and I took care of, was a goldfish named Orangey. (I was only 6. My creativity for names was pretty low.) I won him/her at a beanbag toss game during this first week of school thing they had at my elementary school. Orangey was with me most of my life and was still alive until just before I went off to college. He/she lived to the ripe old age of 12 and got massive. I don't know if any pictures of that fish exist but I remember it clearly. It started out in a 5 gallon tank and later ended up in a 65 gallon tank.
So, not all of the carnival fish die right away. :) (not that I condone giving away fish or anything else alive at a carnival.)
