Today is food day
I looked at what I have to do today and everything is food oriented. I want to clean the kitchen and finish up the dishes. Manadalay's big box of frozen delecacies are coming today, some of which I will be immediately defrosting for her. I got some tiny pickling cukes from the CSA and think I"m going to make a gallon jar of little dills. That brings me to needing to go to the farmers market and the strip district... to get dill at the later and cukes to make pickle relish from the former. I figure if I'm going to make pickling liquid might as well do both at the same time. Also need to get apples for apple sauce and some hot peppers. Chris wants some more hot sauce. We are running low.
So today is deemed food day!

30 weeks (ie aprox. 90 lbs of rats and quails) arrived and unpacked. Have 4 lbs of dry ice left. Damn wish it was closer to Halloween.
OH crap! Forgot I wanted to make creamed corn too!!
