I really like the two first flowers. Great shots and a beautiful subject. :) I must remember 'Pink Cosmo' for my garden next year!

And the spiders - as always they are fascinating to at, even as I shudder to do so.

Thanks for sharing. =D

Thank you. Cosmo are full sun flowers that get 4-6 feet tall. Seashell Cosmos are gorgeous too. They all come in various colors. Pinks, purples and whites are the most common though.

I agree with you there.

You're welcome.

Oh wow, it's a big flower! Do they need a lot of water?

All the flowers in my wildflower garden are like that. LOL They do best in full sun with occasional watering during the hottest months.

My garden is quickly moving in that direction. I don't have a green enough thumb to keep it properly and although at one point during the year I have good intentions, it's not long until all hell breaks loose.

Wildflowers might be the way to go then. Part of the reason I planted them is because they require no care at all.

I suggest looking into a company for wildflowers. I know the US ones maybe I can hunt down one for Canada.... What I would suggest is contacting your local wildlife/nature conservancy or similar organization. Ask for a list of native flowers. Then find a native plant seller either in your area or find a seed producer online that will ship to Canada.

This: http://nature.ca/plnt/res/res_org_e.cfm looked promising for finding information you would need. They have an Ontario section.
