The week in pictures

So I've decided I am definitely going to try for the National Geographic photography contest. Next month I will have to pick out all the pictures for that. I need to go read the rules. HEHEHEH.

Anyway...

A bee coming out of hiding in a sunflower after a rain storm. I love how you can see the pollen dusted on the petals from the storm and wind.

In this one if you look the bee has his front legs up cleaning the back of its head.

A very large carpenter bee in a very unusual position.

I love this Aster picture with the curled petals

A small blueish leafhopper(?) on a red sunflower

Grasshopper on the Oregano

Hellenium AKA Sneezeweed. I love the effects on this picture

Spearmint with a very tiny wasp. Spearmint flowers are gorgeous

Some sort of insect (Still IDing it) matting

Several pigeon images. I love all of these!!!

Some form of Skipper butterfly

Garden spider and its prey

A Yellow crab spider. It was tiny.. tiny.. tiny.
