I took some time out this morning to take a new count of bird species coming to the feeders. Winter has finally got here (YAY Snow) and that brings unusual visitors. In the twenty miutes spent watching the feeders I saw:

Cardinals (We now have two pairs)
Blue Jays (5, I think it is the two from last summer with thier chicks.)
House Sparrow
Field Sparrow
Song Sparrow
Chipping Sparrow
A Squirrel who actually shares the feeder with the birds
Chickadees (We have sooooo many chickadees now)
A Tufted Titmouse (This is the first one I've seen)
Downy Woodpecker
and of course pigeons although there were only a couple this morning.
ETA thnks to irisdragonfly: A pair of mourning doves (they nested in our yard last year.)
