day two

hi again!

wow. stayed up a bit too late last night after posting to do a little more research on the paleo diet, but had a great trip to the grocery today picking up lots of fruits and veggies. i was pretty much hungry all day, my body searching for missing carbs... but i think that's ok. i feel *really* good about my food choices today, though i still need to tweak things to deal with the hunger issue. maybe that will fade as my body gets used to no refined carbs. (fingers crossed)

anyways, today's food:

breakfast: cottage cheese, strawberries, and almonds
snack: sweet potato with cinnamon
lunch: curried chicken & cauliflower cassarole
snack: two apples
dinner: more casserole, over a potato this time for more filling-ness
dessert: sweet potatoes and apples roasted in olive oil with cinnamon

toady's exercise:

15 minutes of shoveling snow
20 minutes of laser tag

note the lack of bread, coffee and refined sugars in this day... YAY!

now for some camomile tea, tv and then bed.
