I've come to realize this weekend that all of my close friends are scattered across EVERYWHERE.

Cody: Just left for basic
Kaitlin: Home in Jersey
Mel:Florida
Heidi: Washington
Doug: Chambana and soon North Carolina
Kates: Michigan
Rob: Is this heaven? No It's Iowa
Felgs: Iraq
Toast: Iraq
Art: England
Chris: England
Mattaye: Chambana
Neal: Chambana then who knows where for pilot stuff
Heather: Down south? Chambana still? Haven't heard from her in forever?
The list GOES ON
I mean...really? I handle distances well with maintaining contact and such. It's not that the friendships will end, it's just annoying as all hell to literally not be able to go see them, even having the time for it. It's not like we all live in the same area and just don't have the time to get together or just can't fit schedules or money. There are states and in many cases OCEANS in between us.
What the hell?
I have friends that I genuinely care about and love spending time with and just LOVE in general...and they are scattered to the winds. It's sad to know that this is how it's going to be too. It's not going to be like it was at U of I where we are within walking distance of one another. We are going to continue to be across long distances.
I guess I'm just going to have to have a savings account specifically for plane tickets/roadtrips out to visit my friends. Dammit, I miss you guys!
