Ahh, yea! It's great to be living on Capitol Hill again. The ol' neighborhood I'm used to ever since I've moved to this city for the past 12 years of living in Seattle.
We don't have to worry about rent (thank god) since we made an investment on our own place, but now we have to pay property tax. Oh well, it's still better than rent. :)
I now have a Commodore 64 case that I've been slowly hacking up to migrate all my hardware into. just a few more components to show up and order then it's done. My own full on DIY analog polyphonic synth. The baby has 8 sid chips (still waiting for them in the mail).
Then I thought "ok, how the hell am I gonna be able to use all 8 and hear them"?
I bought a 16 channel Eurorack Pro mixer and a Virtualizer (multieffects Rackmount processor). both made by das German korp Behringer. JA! DAS IST GUT!
I now have the beginnings of a home recording studio. :D
