I don't care who you are, what you think, or how well you may be able to argue your point. The truth of the matter is for me: I'm addicted to my Oprah 20th anniversary DVD collection. It's some GOOD shit! I have bawled like a baby, had MANY "Aha" moments of mind realization, learned a lot more about humility, humanitarianism, and the good that can happen in this crappy world. I've learned about the affects my parenting style has on my kids, and that there comes a time in your life that you have to surrender to the things that you just will never be able to control. The best part: watch what happens when you truly in your heart and your soul surrender. All I can say is "Amazing". Have you ever seen or heard something and it just "affected" you. This is like 20 hours of DVD that are the perfect words, the perfect stories, situations, etc.
Okay, so I did have PMS when I started watching it. Maybe this was just PMS babble. Who knows. :-)
Truth be known, I am a better person now for having seen these lessons on life. That much I do know.
Happy New Year to those that read this.
