I finally got everything set up to get my speakers repaired. I will be shipping out the back panel of the subwoofer for having the amp replaced tomorrow. Klipsch's email asked that I include a letter with some info, as well as a description of the problem with the returned part. This is what I sent:

As it is wont to do, the amp on my beautiful set of Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 (Originals) wore its poor self out. One day I fired them up, and only the resonating sound of the subwoofer met mine ears. I kindly beseech thee to replace the amp with the utmost haste, that I might once again fill my abode with the sweet sounds of music.

I was told that as my speakers are out of warranty by about two or three years, and since I have paid $90 to have them fixed, that it is not necessary for me to include the original sales receipt. If this is faulty information, please contact me and I will endeavor to track down the said scrap of paper.

Gratefully Yours,
Travis Mount

*shrug* Might make some poor factory worker giggle, in which case my purpose would be fulfilled.

Yeah...that's the update for this month.
