I don't have a before pic of the first shirt, but it was a usual XL shirt with Vans logo on the front. I made a top from the logo part ( I used idea from Generation T).
Back
I wear this top with the plain white purchased tube top (otherwise it's too revealing ^_^). The top is very simple - I just show it to give you idea how did the original shirt look. I had some scraps left, I added a red shirt, a plain white t-shirt and some white ribbons to make... let's call it sailor hoodie ^_~
BEFORE
I like cosplay, but it's quite an expensive hobby. I tried to make something cheap and casual - something that I can wear not only to anime cons, but any day to university. For example, with skinnies and jeans jacket this hoodie would look almost "normal" - I don't want my teachers to freak out after all ^_^
AFTER
I can always hide under the hood...
I also made the "union jack" patch for my backpack from scraps.
Next surgery is a quilt that I made for my little cousin's doll. I was inspired by
roben's wonderful quilts and decided to practice with a small one.
BEFORE
I used a pink shirt on the poto above and some scraps.

And the last shirt is simple resizing - nothing really interesting. But I personally I find resizing even more difficult than reconstruction, because when you want to make a completely new thing, you can chop shirt any way you like, while resizing means that you need to change shirt only slightly - just to make it fit. I'm always afraid to mess everything up.
BEFORE
Forgive me my awkward pose - I just was trying to show how loose is this shirt ^_^

See, much better!
Well, thats all. Thanks for looking!
