I've had a crafty week of shirts and skirts. Prepare for a lot of photos.
I made this one last week. The top part is made of purple and back t-shirt leftovers, and the bottom is some awesome fabric I found. I love it, I could be pregnant and still fit in this.
A close-up, stupid flash makes the middle button look yellow instead of green. Making shirts that require special fitting for the boobage is not my strong point, so I’m proud of myself for pulling this off.
This was a resizing gone wrong--I ended up making it too small. So I used the red t-shirt scrap to make it bigger again and kept reconstructing it from there.
Also, I have shorts from my camp counselor days that I keep because they still technically fit. However, because I’m so tall, most shorts look like glorified panties on me. I used a black t-shirt scrap and turned the shorts into this mini shirt.
I made another scoop neck. I shall get over my back obsession soon!
…maybe
I decided to reconstruct my other Threadless shirt too. Nothing fancy, but I like how it turned out anyways.
I kept it high in the back this time
Also, here the other pair of shorts I turned into a mini skirt, except I used scratch fabric instead of shirts scraps. I still have one pair of shorts left, a faded blue one, that I haven’t figured out what to do with it yet.
I loved
i_eat_u jean vest, so I did my own spin-off. Excuse my deer-in-headlights look.
And the back!! I’ve been holding onto that skulls shirt forever, refusing to throw it out for being too small and now I finally get to wear it again! The reptile skin is some random fabric I had.
Here’s a better look at the skirt I made out with the rest of the jeans that I'm wearing in the above photos.
Wow, sorry to post so much, I hadn't realized until now that I was quite this productive.
