i hate the 4th of july...

and I'm sure I'm not the only one!! Here are some new things I made.. enjoy
I made this out of a Ruts t-shirt! I finished the edges with fold-over elastic and used part of my super leopard mumu for the back. I'm almost out of mumu fabric and it makes me sad.

I made this out of a Partisans t-shirt. The shirt was reaallllyyy tiny.. so I used striped green jersey that I got in the remnants room for cheap. I finished the edges with leopard and added red topstitching.

Made this one out of a Guinness tee... It was old and crackly and stretched out beyond belief! It's funny when you can tell that the person who previously owned the shirt was.. rotund (perhaps jolly?). I put plaid on the back, and picot elastic edging.

This started out as a tiny tee as well. I added leopard to the back, and finished the edges with fold-over elastic. The back fabric came from a 4X shirt I got from the thrift store. If your thrift store has a plus size section, I HIGHLY recommend browsing for great printed items. I find a lot of fabulous knits from plus sized mumus and dresses.

I took a mens small Slaughter and the Dogs t-shirt, took it in a bit, and made it into a tank! I finished the edges with puffball elastic and red topstitching. Grrrrrrr...

Op ivy!! I turned it into a tunic tank and used a crazy black/red knit fabric for the back. The fabric started out as a weird duvet cover from the thrift store.

Only one mini this week... made from a leopard printed shirt and scraps of some cool splatter/skull fabric I had laying around.

Phew... and that is all. I plan on getting a lot more sewn tomorrow because it is against my religion to leave the house on the 4th of July.... everybody turns crazy.
As usual, all available HERE!!!!
