warning. image and cat heavy.
x-poxted a few places (as always)
so this quilt is for my sister (who is a 10+ year cat-a-holic)
its different from the last t-shirt quilt i did
for one particular reason.
shes 10. and the largest size she has ever worn (that fit her correctly thus far)
was a childs large. meaning i couldnt get any of the shirts to be the same size.
i wonder-undered and appliqued the shirt graphic onto a "coordinating" cotton block
so it may look like chaos squares... but hey, shes 10.
used a flannel sheet as the "batting" of the quilt.
which was alot easier to deal with...
sewed inside the "ditches" as they say
and this was defn an "experience" in machine quilting.
i thought about doing the whole thing.
but already have another t-shirt quilt in the line-up
(thank you aunt for supplying my demands :D)
i think thats all i have to say...
so enjoy below the cut.
lots of pictures. (4 actually)
best whole complete view.
shows the back fabric... and a cat (suprise suprise)
another view of the quilt... and look. more cats. lots more cats.
the bag containing the next project. arg
aand the starburst shoes. lol
