Yeah I wasn't sure I was explaining that well. Okay, it's like this. To get from step 5 to step 6 you unfolded the two pieces, right? So after you sew the seam in step 6, you want to re-fold them just like they were in step 5 ( ... )

no wonder it wasn't clear. if i've got it sorted out correctly now, i think you have to turn it inside out between 6 & 7, in addition to doing the fold/switch thing i tried to explain. hope this new graphic helps... must run and help with dinner but will check in again later in evening... sorry for confusion!
