Unacceptable!

I am outraged. As I was browsing CNN’s website I encountered a story about “Vegetables too hot for T.V.” As a vegetable lover I was intrigued about how a vegetable could be too hot for television. I was obviously stunned as I watched PETA’s commercial. The blatant devegetableimazation of those poor, fibrous vegetables! How could an organization that calls for the ethical treatment of animals act so unethically? I understand that there has been a long standing history of dehumanizing women by making them into sexual objects, but to involve an innocent group is reprehensible. Moreover, were those vegetables ripe enough to agree to engage in those sexual behaviors? If not, than the ad agency and the executives of PETA should be arrested for under-aged pornography.

In order to prevent further devegetableimazation, I ask fellow vegetable lovers to unite with me in a new organization named VETA (Vegetables Ethical Treatment Association). Our first act as a group will happen during half time on Super Bowl Sunday. We will show the CEO’s of PETA what vegetables are really for by spit roasting a pig served with eggplant, zucchini, and peppers outside of their corporate offices in Norfolk, Virginia.
