because I knew you I have been changed for the better
It has been almost two years since my move out to the west coast. There have been good times and bad. There have been times when all I wanted to do was move home, and times when I couldn't have imagined myself anywhere else. It is weird to experience such a wide range of emotions towards one place. I only have 35 days left in this state before I move back for school. Because of that fact, I have been doing a lot of reflecting upon my little adventure. Overall I have been very thankful for my experience in Oregon because I have grown so much in the past two years. I have not found complete self enlightenment, but I have had the opportunity to grow, strengthen, and clarify who it is that I am and who I want to be. So thank you Portland for turning a lost girl into a grown woman!
