Since Thanksgiving... really
I realized today how quickly time has been passing by the fact that it has been a month since I posted last and it feels like just last week. During college I always thought that the years flew by,and I attributed that to the academic description of a year, but now that I'm out in the "real" world I feel like time is flying by even faster.
Speaking of flying, I am flying back to Michigan early Friday morning. Natalie is driving me to the airport so that I can catch my 6am flight and be back in MI by 3:40pm. That's one long travel day! But I'm excited to see people from home again.
Life here hasn't been all that exciting. It's just been a lot of working, reading, and writing... I suppose if you add in my banking you could say I'm doing Arithmetic also, which would complete the "three R's". Which by the way, who was the idiot who came up with that phrase? I'd like to kick them in the pants for their lack of ability to spell.
I suppose the most interesting thing that happened lately was that one of my neighbors asked me out on a date last night. I turned him down because last time I hung out with him I felt really uncomfortable around him because he kept staring at my chest... and then he commented. I'm sorry, but I have more class than that. The sad thing is that I actually considered going out with him just because I wanted to go out on a date so badly... but settling is bad. Especially when I am seriously not interested in or attracted to him. But oh well I suppose. One of these days a decent guy will hit on me and it will be nice. Why oh why do I attract the creeps?
