Ok, so maybe the title is a little over zealous, but I'm posting for you, the brilliant fandom out there. I already posted once, but it didn't take and so here it goes again, all because I knew you'd all be oh so excited to hear from me (insert sarcasm here...)
Ok, so in reality I haven't posted in a while because there hasn't been anything all that exciting to say. I'm just living and working and exploring the area little by little. I've only been working 25-30 hours a week at Starbucks because that's all the hours I've been able to get, and therefore during my free time I'm either exploring, being lazy, or searching for another job to fill up said extra time. I have an interview on Thursday at Borders Books and Music, and I really hope that I can get that job for like 15-ish hours a week. It would be a good change of pace from making coffee all the time.
Tomorrow I am going to the Pearl District in Downtown Portland with Barb. We are going to experiment with the public transportation and see if we can make it to Powell Books without having to drive. This place is like a book lover's heaven. It is an entire city block filled with books. We are probably going to spend a good amount of the afternoon there. Maybe I'll suggest packing a lunch and having a picnic in one of the abundant parks in the Pearl District.
So if something interesting comes up I'll keep you updated, but until then consider no news good news... especially with my whole having to go to the library to update thing.
