Rogers is hosting the 2006 PWR PLAY Gaming Championships, a national competition to find Canada's top wireless, Internet and console gamers.
Gamers can compete for cash and prizes valued at more than $100,000 and a spot on the National Competition by entering the Vancouver qualifying event at Metropolis at Metrotown.
Adding to the excitement, Canada's hard-rocking new band, Alexisonfire, will make a special personal appearance at the event in the afternoon.
