Archery is a wonderful thing. Drawing back thebow string, arrow nocked and setting the sights on a target 20 yards away is a process of determination and concentration. I enjoy the symbolic nature of the entire action. It is empowering in the sense that when the string is released, so too is the energy within me. The arrow strikes home with a finality that cannot be denied, and a pressure is lifted from somewhere within. It is the same process of exerting will and force onto any goal or situation in life.
