37 weeks and about ready to pop!
I'm considered full-term today! Technically still have 3 weeks left until the due date, but at this point the baby could come at ANY time. As of Wednesday's prenatal appointment the baby is now in the head-down position, engaged against the cervix (OH THE PRESSURE!), and I'm 1/3rd effaced. Holy shit! This is really happening!
Oh, and some interesting trivia:
Our baby's due date (May 18th) is the same day that Mount Saint Helens exploded 27 years ago (we live not far from there, btw).
Jonny was born in the year of the Fire Dragon. I was born in the year of the Metal Pig. 2007 is the year of the Fire Pig. This kid was definitely meant to be!
