So full-time work is kind of an ass.
On Friday my boss got me to organise all the crap that was spilling out of his bookcase and onto the floor around his desk. The first half of the day was awesome because I'm naturally curious about other people's things and how often do you get a chance to look through your boss' personal things? By the second half of the day the novelty had worn off because I was past the snooping part and onto the putting things away and sorting through old magazine subscriptions. Snore.
Anyway the most bizarre things I found in what is meant to be his work things:
* A deflated inner tube
* A bag full of tea towels
* A book on time travel
* A book called "Petaphysics" which is something about coming up with theories to explain the exceptions to the Laws of the Universe
* Two bags of pebbles (which I guess aren't completely bizarre for an architect to have near his desk...sort of)
* A whole lot of personal birthday cards where his friends call him embarrassing nicknames
Also at one stage my boss appeared to be smelling his keyboard, either that or he just wanted to rest his nose on the "g" key. I guess he forgot I was there.
