Night, Field of stars above us, You pick one, We frame it with our fingers intertwined

I haven't posted in a while because my life has been completely un-newsworthy. ;)

I spent a three weeks worrying about not getting a callback for a job I applied for at an Architectural firm, then got a call on Monday from the Director telling me he had been in Mexico for the last month. I have an interview on Thursday, tests are involved. *gulp* I am half oh my gosh looking forward to next year b/c I have reached new heights of being over uni and half freaked out. Uni is such a buffer against the real world, I'm not sure if the real world and I will get along.

And moving onto a completely unrelated subject because any prolonged thoughts of the future freak me out...

The first entry I ever wrote in my darling LJ was about seeing a singer/songwriter called Brooke Fraser performing live in Melbourne. That was in 2004, back when I wrote my entries like bad high school newspaper articles. *pains* :P I went to see her perform again last Saturday. I had forgotten how completely awesome is. Between songs she spoke about unreliable taxis, how much she hated her socks and her life changing trip to Rwanda. She is just the right amount of crazy talented, down to earth, dorkishly adorable and muddleheaded.

So I hope after hearing her songs you'll fall in love with her and buy her album.
