Haha, Ballykissangel. Do you know how hard that is to get on American tv??? Seriously. I used to watch it all the time but the one station that played kept changing the times and never announcing it... and we were seasons behind as it was. I think they stopped playing it all together but I'm not sure... On our last trip to Ireland, we actually stopped in Avoca where the show's filmed; raised a pint in Fitzgeralds and missed filming by like, 2 days. Still, it was fun.

I started watching Ros Na Run last year but that seems to have disappeared as well.

You got to go to the place it was filmed?! Oh my gosh I'm so jealous. Have you ever watched the Vicar of Dibley? There was a hilarious special episode of that where Father Peter Clifford makes a guest appearance.

Hehe, the idea of an Irish soap opera makes me laugh. It sounds like fun!

I should find the pictures from Avoca and upload them. It was a fun trip. My mom and I were such fangirls. I have seen Vicar but I must have missed that special!

Ooooh, Ros Na Run is hysterical. Mainly because it's in Gaelic. You get whole sentences in gaelic and then all of a sudden words that have no translation pop in like "artifical insemination." XDDD I think I fell off the bed at that one. You'll get the occasional "fuck" and "bastard" in there, too which is always good for a giggle.

hehe, I love when people are speaking another language and they say English words every now and again. Do you speak Gaelic or are there just subtitles?

If you ever want BallyK or Vicar eps you should go here, but membership is closed at the moment so you'll have to wait. :(

Oooh. Thanks for the link! I'll def keep my eye on that comm for the reopening. :)

I, sadly, do not speak Gaelic but fortunately, there are English subtitles. I'd love to learn Gaelic but all I can do is curse so far.

I so rarely get to gush with people about BallyK and the likes. This is fun! Teehee. All my friends were impressed when I knew Colin Farrel before they did.
