so yea....why can't a job just be handed to me???
So yea, I've been searching for a job and quite frankly nobody has responded to my resume that I have given to them. I am getting to the point where I am just going to take a job anywhere because this sitting around the house looking for a job is just not cutting it anymore. I applied today for three jobs in Fairfax. One is an Athletic Services Recreation Specialist. It sounds cool basically sounds a lot like the job in Lynchburg that I applied for just dealing more with altheletics and not community recreation. One of the other one was a Teen Services Program Coordinator, that one sounds cool too. And the last one is a Recreation Services Manager, basically the same as the athletic one just a manager instead. They pay okay, not bad by any means so I'm really hoping that I hear something next week or the week after. I just want a job. I'm thinking about applying for jobs outside of VA more seriously now. I found one in Oregon the other day....a few in TX....I just don't feel like moving and I definitely don't want to pay to go to an interview if I don't get the job.......because then I'm down a couple hundred bucks that I can't get back until I get some sort of job...argh, this sucks right now......Why can't a job just be put in my lap and say "Here you go Bekah....take it and run!!!"
On other news, I went to the library today with Mom and Mr B. I got two books, a Nicholas Sparks book because as we all know I can't put them down at all.....and then a book on 9/11.....lately I have been very interested with all the hoop-la about 9/11 and I just want to read and watch movies about that day. I watched United 93 the other day.....that movie really seriously gives you goose bumps when you watch it. But definitely, a good movie...it defintiely makes you feel lucky that you still have your life and family and friends around you....
Anyway, I don't really know what else to write about...I think I am going to go play video games. talk later! :)
