Hey, I forgot to post about that other show I'm watching. The one with all the glowy things.

I don't have any. Lol. Well, I do, but not all that many. I mean, I'm probably still watching it only because of this compulsion of mine that I'm always afraid to miss stuff if I look the other way for a minute.

4x01 and 02 were rather slashy, with a few very funny lines and nice McShep moments, but the plot wasn't too exciting. I like the planet they're on now. Fake black-and-green sunsets meet my tastes better than fake blue-and-pink ones.

I never thought I'd say this, but I really, really miss Elizabeth. I never much cared about her, she was that person in the background who said "No! No way! Or... oh, well, okay..." when Sheppard and McKay wanted to pursue some idiotic plan that would get them all blown up, and she had some very cool moments in her role as a diplomat.

But having her replaced by Carter? I HATE SAM CARTER! She's boring, she's uptight, and every time I see her I want to punch her for being so damn dramatic all the time (and for being mean to McKay, whose character won't profit from Sam Carter being on Atlantis, either, by the way). Sam, go home and have sex with Jack (if he hasn't died of old age already).

And her good-bye scene... that was all I hate about SG-1 in a nutshell. Teal'C... the guy drives me crazy. All that Jaffa-blah-blah all the time put me to sleep as I was watching the show, and the guy himself is just boring. Yes, I admit it, I only watched SG-1 for Daniel. CUTE DORK WITH GLASSES! And Vala, later on. DANIEL/VALA FTW!

Anyway. Carter on Atlantis = NOT GOOD. Someone please blow her up in a freak accident? Or transport her into space or something? Just get rid of her. She drove me crazy for 10 seasons of SG-1 (okay, 9, I didn't watch season 6, I TOLD YOU I ONLY WATCHED THE SHOW FOR DANIEL ;) ), she had better stay out of my SGA.

I like the Ronon/Teyla that's happening on the show, though. It makes Teyla less solitary-leader-of-the-Athosians-with-a-liking-for-complicated-grammar-in-everyday-speech, and protective!Ronon is just the sweetest thing ever. Poor him, in 4x03, getting betrayed by his fellow Sateda people. Anyway, canon Ronon/Teyla has my approval.

I must say I'm beginning to see the fun side of Ronon/McKay, too. Just saying. ;)

PS: Happy birthday, ignazwisdom! I hope you're having a wonderful day :).
