Procrastination Post
Apparently, David Tennant's gonna be a dad. D'awwwwww. I know, I know, paparazzi photos, I shouldn't be linking you. But. Baby! :D
I am amused by the Sun's "quote" from an alleged source close to DT and Georgia Moffett saying that "David is thrilled, though slightly worried having a baby with Georgia will break the space time continuum because of their Doctor Who connections." I wouldn't be surprised if that source didn't exist and that quote's just a Sun reporter being clever, but still. It amused me. (For all of you who are not up-to-date on the DT gossip, Georgia Moffet is his fiançee as well as Peter Davison's daughter. PD was the fifth Doctor. Georgia Moffet also played Ten's daughter in season 4 of New Who.)
Anyway. That kid has to grow up to be an enormous nerd, considering it'll have two ex-Doctors in the family. Congratulations, Georgia and David.
. . . I'm gossiping celeb gossip on my journal. I assure you, it's all in the name of procrastination. I'm supposed to be writing an essay on how New Who and Torchwood connect to and express the global age. I will write it. In a moment.
I don't have too many new things to tell you. I'm busy with uni, trying to figure out how to write the script for my final project, writing essays . . . oh, I got a job. It's a door-to-door fundraising job, lol. I'll find out how long I'll be keeping that job, considering that I'm really bad at any sort of sales pitching or convincing people to give me their money. But I'll get a few shifts out of it, at least, which means that I will be making at least some money soon.
Oh, right, I've also knitted some socks. Knitting socks = not as hard as it looks. Actually, it's ridiculously easy and quick, if you have YouTube tutorials you can follow. I've finished a pair for myself, and am now knitting a second one. Just because I can.
It's also looking more and more likely that I'll be getting married this summer. Probably in Boston. Probably in July or August. I'll keep you guys updated.
