So I just finished knitting a scarf. It's about 2,40 m long (that's roughly 7' 10'' in weird measurements) and made from really thick wool, so nobody's ever gonna wear it unless they live in Siberia. I had fun knitting it though. And putting little pompoms on the corners of the ends. All neat and tidy.
I started knitting this on Dec 23. That's two weeks, roughly; that's not so bad, is it?
Anyway, I've ordered small, double-pointed knitting needles and
this yarn. I want to knit socks. Knitting is so totally my new procrastination method of choice. Knitting while watching silly television shows. A+
In other news, I'm back in the UK. In related news, I can confirm that long-distance relationships still suck. In additional news, I'm doing a studio show tomorrow with my Advanced Studio class, and the group dynamics of this unit are by far the suckiest I've been part of in my three years of uni, so I'll be glad when that's over. In apologetic news, I promise I'll get around to answering those meme prompts in my last post. That game is easier when played orally, because then you have less time to think about the prompts and just have to go with something.
Oh, and a huge thank you to all of you lovely folks who sent me Christmas cards:
neery,
chaoskir,
debris_k,
svanderslice,
inlaterdays,
explodedpen,
hibernia1,
wihluta and
sirdoctoroftardis. It was so nice to come home to a pile of Christmas mail sitting on my bed waiting for me. :3
And now I will go to bed, since I have to be up early tomorrow. Hope everyone's doing okay~
ETA: Oh, I also watched Misfits. It was . . . weird? I'm not sure if I like it. It was so very Channel 4.
