Everybody who's interested in doing the
500-words-a-day mini-nano thing, please join
wewriteinhell.
I might decide to do this for longer than a month. Or make it a bi-monthly thing. Or something like that. I'm really starting to like the idea of a comm where Spartans will mock you if you don't write 500 words per day.
I spent all day job-hunting! Blah, I hate writing applications. Hopefully I will now get some kind of job. I applied to one where I would essentially be doing office work for 12 hours a week. That would be 72 quid per week, which is cool, and office work is easy. It's computers; I know computers. The bad thing about this job is that it's got a fixed schedule. It agrees with my current time table, but it might not anymore as soon as period three starts after Easter. Oh well, I'll just see how it goes.
Alternately, there's always Subway xD. I also applied to some sort of tea store, which would just be cute to work for.
The job hunting put me in spending-money mood, so I went and spent money. Yeah, this is how my brain works. I know it doesn't make any sense >_>. Anyway, I bought a pair of jeans, and I spent about five minutes ogling the G1 at the T-Mobile shop. I really, really want a G1. They're neat. Just to be fair, I also checked out the iPhone at the Apple store--and okay, they're kind of neat, too, but I dislike the idea of a touchscreen keyboard. The G1 QWERTY keyboard is MUCH neater. *really wants that phone*
