"Physics for Dummies", or "The Day the LHC Ate The Earth"

You may have heard about CERN. It's the Centre Européen pour la Récherche Nucleaire, the European center for nuclear research. It's located on both sides of the Swiss/French border near Geneva, and it's where the intarwebs was invented.

You also may have heard that CERN is building - respectively has built - the LHC, the Large Hadron Collider, ( Read more... )

Haha, I remember hearing about this a while ago! Do people still really think they could destroy the Earth? Good luck to them finding the particle, I say.

Lol, yes, they actually think that. neery told me that there's actually a group of people who believe that this mysterious Black Hole wouldn't only eat up the Earth, but would also swallow the whole universe.

Swallow the universe. A Black Hole. Created in a human-built particle accelerator. In Switzerland.

It must have been their evil plan all along.

Is this for REAL? Wow. It sounds like fiction along the lines of the P.L.O.T.-device. It would make for an excellent movie, though.

Lol, yeah. Or a Dan Brown novel. I think Dan Brown wrote something very similar to this. Only there was more about the church and badly researched archeology involved.

Hehe, we were just talking about that yesterday. So ridiculous. The best thing in this whole wank is IMHO, that the suit against this endeavour was issued in freaking Hawaii. Where else, no? ;-)

I will try to follow this, it should prove interesting.

Science wank.

We really need more of that. ;-)

Lol, I heard that the person trying to disprove Hawking isn't actually a physicist, but a chemist.

Which is also just typical. xD

Hey. You can't ever know what went down in Tunguska. KRYCEK WAS INVOLVED IN THE TUNGUSKA INCIDENT. It's all TOP SECRET per default.

But we all know it were black wriggly worms sneaking into people's eyes and turning them into shape-shifting aliens. Or something.

Tell me about Mallory. I don't think I know him. AND YAY STUFF IN FIC FOR ME :DD. I like the idea.
